Hello Nature Ninja’s,

Cumbernauld Living Landscape has a volunteer day coming up on the 8th of April  from 12-4pm at Seafar Woods Wildlife Reserve.  This month we will try once again to do a mahoosive litter pick and make our woodlands sparkle again, I am hoping there will be no re-occurrence of snow, I mean for goodness sake it is April!  You’ll notice the change of the date as yup I know the 8th of April isn’t the first Sunday of the month – however we do have an event on Easter Sunday and Monday at Palacerigg Country Park and of course there are many chocolate eggs to be eaten. With all that in mind I have taken the executive decision to change the date to the next Sunday 😊 so the 8th of April it is.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear good walking boots/wellies and bring waterproofs (just in case).

The volunteer day will be weather dependant and will be cancelled in the event of bad weather (driving rain, blizzards or winds over 30mph), keep an eye out for emails just in case.  Teas, coffee & pastries will be available to keep us motivated. Children over the age of 8 are welcome at this volunteer day but must be supervised at all times.

Date                      8th April

Time                      12pm – 4pm weather dependant

Location               Meeting at Hat-trix car park, Cumbernauld Village, G67 2TB

Let me know if you are coming along 😊  tlambert@scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk
