Weekend Conservation day – Nature Ninjas
Join us on the last volunteer day of 2017, good grief how did we get here so fast!
This December we will be in Ravenswood LNR to tidy it up for the winter. Our aims for the day are to:
• Add gravel to the classroom area
• Trim vegetation in the butterfly garden area
• Sow Yellow rattle in the Butterfly garden area
• Cut back scrub on the marsh – BRING WELLIES!
We are also at the time of year where we lose the light quickly so we may even finish early. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate will be available on the day, maybe even mince pies to get us in the festive mood, after all we won’t meet up again until after the new year eeek!
As always our conservation workdays are child friendly but we do have to restrict age to 8 and over with supervision at all times by a responsible adult.
