This form is to register your interest in participating in research overseen by the Marine Natural Capital Forum Scotland (MNCFS).
The research output will be a ‘Lessons learned from land’ report. This will summarise natural capital approaches applied to land management and how these approaches can be transferred to marine projects.
This report will aim to collate summaries of existing land-based projects within the UK (with a particular emphasis on Scottish-based projects), reflect on the challenges and successes during project development and application, and assess the transferability of these approaches to the marine environment where access, ownership rights, legislation and data availability are different.
We are welcoming input from both land and marine-based industries, academia, and government. This report will be a pioneering step towards advancing marine natural capital within Scotland and the wider UK.
