Lunch & Learn: Scotland’s Approach to RBMP4 and Natural Capital
Watch the recording of this Scottish Forum on Natural Capital Lunch & Learn webinar, where Roy Richardson from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) explores Scotland’s approach to River Basin Management Planning (RBMP) and early thinking on integrating a natural capital approach. RBMP is Scotland’s strategy for protecting and improving the water environment. It sets out statutory objectives and a detailed programme of measures to manage water quality, water resources, and the physical condition of rivers, lochs, estuaries, coastal waters, and groundwater. The next update, RBMP4, is due by December 2027, and planning is underway to embed a natural capital perspective.
