Marine Natural Capital Forum Scotland Starts

The Marine Natural Capital Forum Scotland held its first meeting in April 2022, with members from NatureScot, SRUC, JNCC, University of Aberdeen, Crown Estate Scotland and the Blue Carbon Forum.

The Basecamp Group, Marine Natural Capital Network, was set up to provide a platform for technical and policy experts to share knowledge of and expertise on marine systems, conservation and management to enhance the collective understanding, development, and application of natural capital in marine planning and policy.

The group has now evolved as one of the topic hubs within the Scottish Forum.
