KALY is a natural capital and nature-based solutions business entirely focused on the marine environment. Founded in 2022, the team set itself the task to build a business that works for the environment, local communities and shareholders in equal measure. Based on the Isle of Skye, KALY is building a cluster of seaweed farms and processing hub with a focus on nutrient sequestration and recycling. Separately KALY is gearing up for the creation of marine natural capital assets.

At KALY we will promote and share the benefits of farming kelp with local communities. We believe in a more holistic approach to working the sea through protection, restoration, and marine conservation. Our work will make a positive contribution to existing communities.
